Playback from the Objects window
- First, check that your sound devices are ready
- Check that the sound source (Wave) is selected
(for details see the Windows volume control)
- See also Sound objects and LongSound objects.

1. Playing back Sound objects
- Select the Sound object from the Objects list
- Click Play

- The entire Sound object is played back
- If the Sound object is stereo, it’s played back in stereo
- The [Esc] key stops ongoing playback.
- The [Tab] key is not active (no toggling pause/continue).
- Several Sound objects can be selected and played back in sequence
- Hold the [Ctrl]-key down and click each name in turn; playback is sequenced in the order they appear in the list.

2. Playing back LongSound objects
- Playing back a LongSound object is slightly different. Click Play part:

- And the LongSound Play part dialog opens:

- Enter the start and end times of what you want to hear (in seconds).
- Click OK and playback begins.
- Repeat this procedure to play it again.
- The [Esc] key stops ongoing playback.
- The [Tab] key is not active (no toggling pause/continue).
